Wordox is a strategic game and skipping your turn may actually help you win!
In fact, skipping your turn has a real impact on the game because:
– Two “skips” will clear the letter rack.
– Three “skips” in a row will clear the board.
Example:
The score in 19-19.
It is your turn and you have a new rack of letters.
You cannot find a 6 letter word that will give you enough points to win the game.
In this case, it is better to pass than to play.
Why?
Because if you put a 3, 4, or 5 letter word on the board, your opponent may draw better letters, play a 6 letter word, and win the game.
Whereas if you pass, your opponent might play a 3, 4, or 5 letter word. Then you have a chance to draw better letters and win the game.
If your opponent also passes, then the letter rack will be cleared and hopefully you will be able to make a 6 letter word from the new letters and win.
